CHOOSING A FAN
Option 1 Plug & Play Fan PN 79635941044
This KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas cooling fan option connects directly to the factory harness to control the fan's temperature range. It's a light-weight, OEM computer-controlled option for keeping the engine at safe temps. On the flip side, there is no temperature display or ability to adjust the fan settings.
Option 2 Digital Display Fan PN 55735941004
In addition to being able to set fan-on temperatures (between 150-200 F or 65-95C), having a display can be very helpful for monitoring cold-start warmups and running temps. In order to provide these features, the fan needs a direct battery source. If connected to the factory harness, the computer would attempt to regulate the fan providing it with intermittent voltage. For the fan features to work as designed, an auxiliary harness to independant battery voltage is required.
